Retractable landing gear that can be customized in the following ways:

  • Resizable support/strut length
  • Customizable suspension
  • Customizable deployed angle letting the player decide how far away it extends from the craft and how far forward or backward it extends.
  • Resizable wheel radius and thickness
  • Option to toggle retractable on/off. Retractable landing gear would include a stowage bay that resizes to accommodate the landing gear.

    Yay, now I don’t have to make hard-to-do DIY landing gear.

    Would be also cool if we could adjust whether/how much the wheels can turn.

    It would also be useful to decide how many wheels are on one assembly.

    @Klosskopf I'm suffering from this now :(
    I think I'm doing something wrong, but hinges and pistons are not working for me with a heavy SSTO. They explode as soon as I launch.

    I don't think, that is a must have. Its way more fun to build your own landing gear with hinges and pistons. Though a start angle for hinges would be usefull, not only for landing gear purpose

    @AstronautPlanes Modding support will come a bit later. Things are changing so much that mods would break quite often, so we are waiting until the API settles a bit before releasing mod tools. It should be quite a bit easier to work with than SP when it is ready.

    But Andrew, why you don't add them, you are the developer! (and how I can create a mod for SR2, cause I have unity now)
