This could lead to some problems. They could at least let you delete a craft and upload another without increasing the timer counter (if you upload 3 or so you can't upload more in 24 hours)
You should write this in Stuff/Suggestions, this is the forum, not the official suggestions section
If you link pistons they act as a rope
A crane cable
Hinges work too
*This crafts were made in older versions, I don't know if they still work well
You can use a fairing or a wing with tinkered heat resistance and paint it the same as the in-game heat shield
This has been answered dozens of times in the forum and it's answered in FAQ. 2019, there's no date yet.
@Emin2904 that's what the system inserted in your mind. Whoever wants to see the truth can easily tell that Earth is flat indeed.
@nico412 I don't recommend you to drive long land distances with a plane
@AndrewGarrison I'm not sure if you're aware of this, I think this is in the suggestions list, so you may be able to list that as done
"The new input controller options are so amazing I don't know how to express my gratitude. I want to hug you so bad @NathanMikeska"*
You have multiple versions made by @AnotherFireFox in the sandbox section with detailed explanation on how to install it.
We are currently working in custom planet surfaces since it's procedurally generated, they have default models by now.
Are you going to visit the Ice Wall?
I think it could look good enough for now, the only problem would be the body shown in the map, but I think it's worth having a binary system
@AndrewGarrison could you add a color editor (RGB, HSL), without the need of a visual interface, just the numbers. This could make tweaking colors much easier. Also alfa value (with a limit in 10 or so to prevent invisible parts) would be amazing. I don't know if I should be posting this in suggestions since this update is in beta.
@AstronautPlanes to be fair (I don't like what squad is doing too) SR2 is in beta and ksp reached final release long time ago, it's to be expected that a early access game has more updates
You have them listed by @Bmcclory here
Can you add linear aerospikes too? :D
It would be great to have Fuel/Oxidizer Ratio too :)
How are you going to deal with fuselage fuel? Manual setting or auto detect engine type?
@swope but don't know what that stands for, maybe @AndrewGarrison can give us a hint on the uses for CraftExplosionSimulate, DJGPP, Benchmark_Flight_All, Benchmark_Flight
@mjdfx150529 I like the way it's done now. If you choose a chip in editor and make an staging and then pick another one and make a different staging you'll have the different stage configurations when you swap between them in flight
This is useful for recoverable and/or complex crafts
You have to decompile it from the game, once you decompile it's in a file named parts.xml
@Chancey21 I prefere to squeeze all the SR2 juice I can before
And I'm sure there's a lot of 0 point users that posted something
You can find the latest version here
You can configure controllers for this
If you're doing this without the planet editor... This is unbelievable, Jundroo should hire you at this point
You should structure your posts more to make them easier to read.
Have you reported the bug? Can you share a link to the bug report so we can upvote it?
Have you tinkered with game files? A wrong RSS installation or a wrong attribute in a craft xml file can break the game
Unknown part integrity that decreases with use (more heat, more degradation for example) and that can be fixed with some cost (refurbishment of recovered parts).
The value is unknown but the lower it gets affects efficiency (so you have to test the parts, make static fires before launch... and check if a tank leaks, if one of the engines has less thrust...)
The more you use a product or a design improves the durability and reduces the possibility of failure
@AndrewGarrison it's been having issues for a couple of weeks now... I hope they can find the cause and fix it
@bartekkru100 @mjdfx150529 blue is the future
@AndrewGarrison thanks! :) The overexpansion and the atm regime looks nice, but the under-expansion looks a bit weird because I think it should have more of a cone shape as @Gregox pointed
I love the texture, will it be possible to change the color with fuel?
@AndrewGarrison that's the maximum under-expansion?
That number is the mass of fuel/oxydizer in the tank in kg. I'm glad you're back :D
@Dinocraft649 I have almost 500 hours and have many unfinished projects
@Chancey21 yup, I love how the game is progressing and almos everything I have in my perfect roadmap is in their roadmap :)
@butterworth95 you can try the RSS system
I have a problem with sections of the same craft disappearing if you go too far, like with xml edited pistons
This is a clickable of the link shared by @swope
@swope You can sink it or place it in a place surrounded by mountains, but with the planet builder it would be far easier
@NathanMikeska A fix for me would be something that may sound scary to you.
We can disable part collisions... what about ground collisions? I mean, if you have some parts with ground collision the craft won't fall into oblivion and this may be useful.
I know it's dangerous for casual gamers that may get confused with it, maybe making it only accesible by xml editing or plaving it in hidden options...
Good luck man (suerte :) )
You can find answers for this in lots of forum posts and even in the FAQ section
"When can we expect the mobile (iOS/Android) release?"
We will begin development in early 2019. At this point, it is too early to give a release date estimate. Once we’ve started to peel the onion back we’ll have a better grasp on how long it will take to get the mobile version blasting off.
Not so detailed but you can automate stuff like decouple side boosters when they're empty
Every time I launch the game from steam for the first time it crashes. I have no much time so I couldn't find any possible cause.
Edit: Launch for the first time every time I rebooted my laptop*
@SupremeDorian they listen to all kind of suggestions and bugs there, if you look at the list there are some open bugs like the Spotlight error that happen only in the web
I'm sure you can get that without mods if you make a motor have 0 speed it says "Floppy". I think thats the same for rotators and himges if you set range 0°
The new input controller options are so amazing I don't know how to express my gratitude. I want to hug you so bad @AndrewGarrison
You don't have to overwrite each file, if you uncompress the zip in the Jundroo folder they should go each to it's place
@AnotherFireFox And infinite fuels, I think it was the first part mod
@tars13 Yup, but ingame we cant make 1 chamber with 4 nozzles, so we have to make kind of four 191 attached together
@SasquatchOnNeptune Yup, same as anotherfirefox, I'm in my finals now :(
