Whitney-Strott Research (WSR) is an independent company based primarily on Droo, focusing on experimental vehicle design with an emphasis on aircraft. However, the company also work on SSTOs, weird doohickeys, and sometimes, spaceships.

The company was founded on April 1st, 2155, by Jaren Wall Whitney and “Strott”. Its original goal was to become a major manufacturer within Droo’s logistics system, but just three years after its founding, “Strott” made a perfectly-timed investment in a totally legit online currency — allowing the company to have enough funds to later focus in space mining that gives moar fundigs, few domino effects later and now the company holds what is essentially an infinite amount of… well, “funds"

Currently, WSR is divided into 3 major subdivisions each with their own target:
Strott: focuses on jet powered crafts,

J.W. Whitney/Whitney: focuses on propeller-driven aerocrafts and houseware fan (yes yes),

Advanced Space & Aeronautics Research Institution (A.S.A.R.I): well you know what they do just by reading the full acronym.
