Landing Gear wheels disappears in build-mode, may be causing craft to get stuck in the ground in flight-mode

Auto Credit Based on KraZIvan's Airfield with two VASI and a control tower
After changing a few of the size/length options of the landing gear, for some sizes/lengths the wheel seems to randomly disappear, and the strut snaps back to retracted position. This seems to happen randomly.
When the gear does this, the wheels then get stuck in the ground when you go to flight-mode. Deleting the gear and puting a new one without the bug fixes this, but if you tweak the new gear again and the wheel disappears, the craft will once again be stuck in the ground.
(Picture shows nose LG has this problem of the missing wheel)
