This is a small rocket (3125kg) that can achieve an orbit of 125-175km, depending on how efficiently you use the fuel.
This rocket consists of 3 stages:
- Jet Stage
- Periapsis Stage
- Orbit stage
The jet stage has 10% fuel and you should fly it at 100% speed at an about 80 degree pitch angle.
The periapsis stage you should fly at 25-30% speed until you reach a periapsis of around 75km (don't throw this away, the fuel will be useful)
Once you reach the periapsis, point at a pitch inclination of around 5 degrees prograde and put the speed to 100%
After you run out of fuel, activate the orbit stage and put the speed to 100% aswell, until you reach a rough orbit, then you can use the remaining fuel to clean it up and get a smoother orbit.
This whole thing started off from a challenge I found on the workshop from Earl1.
