Smart General Ascent Program

SmartGAP Vizzy Automated Launching Program with Moon Orbital Plane detection, Version BETA 1

Successfully tested with the following rocket systems (Start Mass of Rocket / Mass orbited into LEO, "T" versions are with boosters) :

M.A.R.S. I 128t / 2.4t
M.A.R.S. I-T 158t / 3.2t

M.A.R.S. II 305t / 12.7t

M.A.R.S. III 655t / 34t
M.A.R.S. III-T 1210t / 46t

M.A.R.S. IV-T 1510t / 51.4t

M.A.R.S. V 2850t / 120t "Friedensbringer"
M.A.R.S. V-T 2660t / 118t "Fatmops"

M.A.R.S. VI 3060t / 171t

M.A.R.S. VII-T 6520t / 340t "Mighty WUMMS"

("Mops" is a cute little lazy dog, "WUMMS" is a german term for BAMM)

All rockets started from Kourou, Guiana. Heading East 90deg.
I am developing this in the Solar System, but it should work in the Juno stock system as well because of the generic celestial body initilization in the code.

The launcher program is able to first wait for reaching the Moon Orbital Plane (if the launch site ever passes it, I use Kourou, Guiana with Hyperpatchs Solar System 2).
Then the program launches the rocket first vertically, then initial pitching and then going into a gravity turn which is adapted during flight to reach orbit.
After reaching orbit this is circularized with the means of main engine and RCS (optional).

User can (de)activate functions in the Vizzy initialization section between others :
* Boosters are supported with Variable bBoosters
* Moon Orbital Plane waiting function can be activated with Variable bWaitForMoonOrbitalPlane
* Fast forward time mode as default during ascend can be activated with bFastFwd for testing for example.
* RCS can be activated for final circularization

Main differences between version BETA1 and version Alpha3 :
- finalization can use RCS now and should be nearly perfect in most cases

TODO
* Rendevous with target in orbit (probably in a new program called Mechanicus Launcher but based on the SmartGAP code
* Adding some more utilities like "LateralUp", "LateralDown" orientation setting
* The general problem I have is that the Vizzy program does not have information about the next stage but only about the current one
* Between other things it means that the rocket must have a somewhat not so bad design
* This needs some smart ideas which should become even smarter

Demonstrator craft here is the Mars 7T "Mighty WUMMS" rocket with a 300t test load that even Arnold in his best years could not lift manually (probably).

Your feedback is greatly appreciated !
Have a great flight!
Tom
