Tactics and Doctrine

The TL-5 "Crossbow" is intended to be a lightweight and highly maneuverable SHORAD platform, bouncing between Forward Operating Air Bases, Auxiliary Operating Points, and possibly light- and medium-weight ships, depending how the war unfolds.
It's intended to be much more maneuverable than the TEL-4/MAZ-543, the primary launch and transport platform in service with DSC, which is much heavier and slower. this, however, means sacrificing missile range. significantly.
It's best used in popup attacks: shooting, maneuvering around terrain and being unpredictable against enemy combat aircraft and ground platforms. this follows the core idea of forward Operating Bases. in the event you aren't under fire from maneuvering combat aircraft, and from cruise missiles, it's best to engage them from a distance. I recommend shooting from 15km at max to avoid your missile bleeding speed too early.

Rokugou Systems SAM-33C-1 "Skybolt" (4x)

the SAM-33C-1 is the surface-launched variant of the AAM-33C-1, the heaviest missile in the Skybolt family, with slightly more fuel on board for higher top speed. at low altitudes, it has extremely short range.
* speed cap: Mach 3.75+ (launched Static @ Sea level)
* Rangebands: short (1-15km/1-10mi)
* Altitude cap: 30km (100,000ft) coded, however won't go over 3000m in most conditions tested
* Probability of Hit: 95% (under ideal conditions)
* Probability of Kill: 99% (so far I have only vaporized targets)
* Off-The-Rails Weight (excluding ejection rack): 175kg
* TWR: 20x (off-the-rails), 43x (empty)
* burn time: 6 seconds
* Steering: Canards with 35° control authority
