The old command pod was replaced a decent amount of time ago with the procedural ones of today. Some people miss it, though, and so do i. However, while searching in my old crafts, i found one of them, so i quickly made a subassembly of it to always have easy access to it (using XML to set the part type from CommandPod4 to CommandPod1 won't work btw).
It actually has a surprising advantage over the default pod as it can fit 3 droods in (must be cramped lol) rather than 1 for a default-sized new capsule. Some people also just prefer its looks over the current one. So yeah, enjoy.
