Radar Display

Description

This is an omnidirectional radar display that shows craft within a range of 100 m to 100 km. Additionally, it allows for the selection of the types of craft to display (surface, aerial, or all), filter out craft that are too close, display information about a specific craft, and set a specific craft as a target.

How to use

First, install the display on your craft. Adjust its size using the Height and Width sliders (you can also use the Tinker Panel for this).

- Use the "SCL+/SCL-" buttons to adjust the radar range.

- Use the "SLCT" button to choose the type of crafts to display. The text at the bottom indicates which craft type is currently being shown.

- Use the "HIDE/SHOW NAME" button to toggle the visibility of the displayed crafts' names.

- Use the "HIDE/SHOW NRBY" button to toggle the display of nearby crafts.

- Click on a craft's marker – two buttons will appear on the screen. Use the bottom button to open a window with information about the selected craft. Use the "SET/UNST TARGET" button to change the target status of the selected craft.

- To close the target information window and clear the craft's selection, click anywhere on the empty area of the screen.

Crafts are displayed on the screen if they are located within 95% of the current radar range. If the "Hide Nearby Crafts" function is enabled, crafts will not be displayed if they are closer than 5% of the current range.

Customization

You can adjust these settings:

- The number of displayed crafts is limited to ten for each type.

- The display program features a craft filter. Crafts will not be displayed if their mass and number of parts are below the set thresholds.
