Overview
Catch Demonstrator v2.5 abbreviated as CD-2.5 is a suborbital rocket with an objective to demonstrate SpaceX style booster catch in a smaller scale and at a suborbital trajectory.
The craft uses codes of Aerodynamic Guidance and Landing from iSpace's Beta Block 4 rocket's first stage which was simplified by Omna. The code has been heavily optimised for catching after multiple trial-error attempts and adjustments.
The craft is solely built for learning purpose. But, in my opinion, the craft was very aesthetically pleasing so I thought to release it publically.
The fuel of the rocket has already been reduced to 39%(at launch) to mimic landing conditions.
Even though the code has been optimised for catching, there are still chances of errors. Make sure to set you physics settings to the max including the physics distance to 10km
The rocket has multiple onboard cameras and launch pad cameras for enjoyment purpose(lol). There is a set of Vizzy code which will ask for your permission to switch between cameras automatically both in crafts ascent and descent phase. You can either accept it or deny it, your wish.
The wierd thing about this craft is the tower rotates on its own axis so that it could align the arms with respect to rocket's position. I know, sounds unconventional but I had no idea.
NOTE :-
- Launch the craft from DSC Large Pad only
About Myself
I am SST, founder/CEO of JNO's commercial launch service provider Agnite Space. I am playing JNO for 5+ years. My this JNO account is meant for publishing my projects other than that of Agnite Space's.
I hope you will like the craft. Feel free to make your own iterations derived from my craft.

@SpaceLAerospace you can, but you'll have to modify the Vizzy code, on the rocket side.
Btw there is a code inside rocket's main fuel tank which does the calculation for proportionate closure of the chopstick arms based on altitude.

@dude133 forgot to mention that you have to launch it from DSC large pad. Sorry for the inconvenience 🙏

@SSTCREATIONS You're very welcome! I'm glad you liked the photos it was a pleasure capturing this craft!
I would like to thank @Astron7 for taking beautiful pictures of this craft.
PS :- CD-2.5's successor is under Construction
