Sedna - Origins is a Sedna probe developed and built by LASVI Aerospace Company. The mission took 16 years and 29 days. Sedna - Origins was launched into space on November 7, 2045, with the task of exploring Sedna, the most distant known asteroid in the solar system. After the launch, the rocket provided it with a ΔV=8950 m/s C3=80.1 km²/s². It skillfully utilized the gravitational forces of the giant planets to change its orbit at appropriate times, aiming to explore multiple planets and their satellites simultaneously.

The probe weighs 945 kg. On June 7, 2046, it flew by Jupiter at an altitude of 527,000 km. Three hours before the Jupiter flyby, it made a distant flyby of Io. Four hours after passing the perijove (the closest point to Jupiter), it made a close flyby of Europa, and then a distant flyby of Ganymede.

On December 25, 2051, it separated a Neptune atmospheric probe for exploring the atmosphere of Neptune. After the main parachute was deployed, the probe was destroyed by high pressure and low temperature in just over five minutes. During this period, the probe successfully transmitted data back to the main detector.

On January 18, 2052, it flew by Neptune at an altitude of 2048 km. Within just one hour after passing the periapsis (the closest point to Neptune), it made distant flybys of Proteus, Despina, Galatea, and Larissa.

On December 2, 2061, it reached its final destination: Sedna. It flew by Sedna in less than a minute at a speed as high as 23.3 km/s. The probe collected approximately 40.8 GB of data during the flyby of Sedna, which was compressed to about 8 GB. A few weeks after the flyby, the probe shut down all its scientific instruments. It took about 2.6 years to transmit all the data back to Earth using a 200 - watt power transmitter. After that, the mission ended, and Sedna - Origins will continue to fly into interstellar space until its energy is exhausted...
