the lander is monopropellant powered. and it comes with an onboard monopropellant generator. you should not need to turn it off,and it produces insane amounts of monoprop so you pretty much have infinite range.the rocket is definitely overkill but its fun to use.everything is straightforward, and there should be an open AG for any personal modification. the lander can land on droo without power useing airbrakes and chutes.it is NOT career mode friendly, nor was really intended to be "realistic" but again its fun to use and is functional for exploring

I did not notice the bay on the lander was set to starting open or something as it opens when loaded onto the pad.so sorry about that
