Explorer 10(P-14) was an Explorers Program satellite designed to map out planetary and interplanetary magnetic field including 3 different manometers and as well as a plasma probe. Launched in March of 1961, Explorer-X was to discover the magneto tail, building on the information gathered from Explorer 6.
