AGP Stands for Automatic Ground Pounder
Credit goes to Triton Aerospace for allowing the use and modification of his guidance computer, as well to Alpha Space Technologies for developing the bomb itself.
Range: 3 - 15km (can be extended with a high altitude launch)
Launch height: 1km- 10km (try not to launch too high at close range)
Launch speed: Mach 1 - 3 (can be launched at Mach 0.6 within 5 kilometers)
Blast radius (lethal): 20m
Blast radius (moderate damage): up to 30m
This weapon is compatible with all Alpha Space Technology developed aircraft with 1st gen Fire Control System. Just select a target on the jet, and deploy ordinance via Activation group powered Fire Control System on board said jet (FCS instructions sold on separate aircraft). The AGP-05 will automatically glide towards to target and detonate upon impact, if within physics range. A line of sight between the launching point and the target must be maintained for a successful launch; The AGP guided bomb series DOES NOT feature a ground collision avoidance system.
The AGP-05 is a relatively nimble, light-medium sized guidance bomb that can glide towards selected ground targets to be destroyed. Although its blast radius isnt the most impressive, it is able to one shot most reasonably sized ground targets, provided it gets a direct hit. That being said, it isnt recommended against very large armored targets like the SimpleFreighter and since its unpowered, it is not accurate against fast moving targets, either. Despite the shortcomings of larger guided bombs, its small size and relatively low weight means its a great guided bomb to eliminate single targets and you can generally carry more payload.
