Long March 7

The Long March 7 is a new type of liquid-fueled launch vehicle developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CASA) as the overall research and development unit.

The Long March 7 is a new generation of medium-sized launch vehicle developed by China's manned space program to meet the needs of China's space station project to launch cargo spacecraft, and its predecessor is the Long March-2F launch vehicle. The Long March 7 rocket has a total length of 53 meters, adopts a "two-and-a-half-stage" configuration, with a diameter of 3.35 meters for the first and second stages of the core, and a diameter of 2.25 meters for four boosters, using non-toxic and non-polluting fuels such as liquid oxygen and kerosene as propellants, with a take-off mass of about 597 tons and a take-off thrust of 727 tons. The low-Earth orbit (LEO) has a carrying capacity of 14 tons, and the 700-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit has a carrying capacity of about 5.5 tons
