Capable of flying above 28km at speeds exceeding Mach 3 in stable flight. Due to the nature and manufacturing cost of the aircraft, pilots are encouraged to jettision the Rotodome should an Anti-Radiation Missile be detected, unless flying well outside its interception range. This is a necessary alternative to sacrificing the airframe, and the likely ineffeveness of chaff and other countermeasures as a result of the phased array’s presence.
