The Daedalus MK-1 is a Apollo-style mission to land droods on Luna and Brigo. It consists of the launch vehicle Prometheus, the Daedalus capsule, and the Icarus lander. The lander contains a Flag, a retroreflector, and a seismometer in the stowage section for all your lunar science needs. The dedalus capsule has some interesting quirks, such as the extended crew segment, and the thruster assisted descent.

Instructions for ideal flight Daedalus:

Daedalus has a 7 crew capacity, but ideally a crew of four or five is best for these missions. Only 2 of the crew can go to the lunar surface for now but in the future, the crew capacity of the lander will likely be increased.

Activation Groups:

Stage 1: Launch (Prometheus first stage)
Stage 2: Prometheus second stage (circularisation and TLI. Ideal circularisation is roughly 120 km.)
Stage 3: Release payload
Stage 4: Lander and crew vehicle separation
Stage 5: Main engine ignition (lunar insertion, escape, and Droo de-orbit burn. Ideal lunar orbit is 40-35 Km. Ideal Droo de-orbit altitude is 130 km. Once lander upper stage has re-docked to the Daedalus, offload the crew and leave the lander in lunar orbit. Escape from lunar orbit and return to Droo. Once in a orbit of 130-140 Km, activate stage 6.)
Stage 6: Eject trunk and cruise phase.
Stage 7: parachutes (activate at 900-850 M/S)
Stage 8: Eject heat shield and activate descent engines (activate at 200-150 M/S. Once the parachutes disconnect, use descent engines to land the capsule.

Instructions for ideal flight of Icarus:

Lander has a 2-crew capacity. Once astronauts are onboard, undock, de-orbit and land.
