Alright, so I'm going to be hosting a fanart contest based off of my fictional universe,, Ex Cineribus: Resurgimus (ECR). Firstly dont worry I did check with Mostly first to see if it's legal and turns out it is! As well I made this a craft post (since not only is there actually is a surprise craft) so that everyone can see

Rules

Fanart must be of a ship (or 2 or more lol) I built or have featured in pictures yet haven't posted

Dont compete pls, this is just for fun, and don't take it too seriously, this may help hone some of your art skills more or test a new technique

Can be done physically or digitally

Background doesn't have to be lore aligned, it can be your systems or someone else's systems (it's fanart, it's not Canon lol as well, please state the systems name or planets name), you can draw ships in the atmosphere even or in space or underwater (the ships cant go underwater lol, yet again, this is fanart, it doesn't have to align with lore lol)

if you are drawing a combat scene (as well you can have combat scenes between any faction really, it's fanart lol) the Plasma shots can be any colour you want (again, fanart, not exactly lore aligned, although if you want lore accuracy, plasma shots are orange/red), although, please do make the thruster burn colour orange for all factions

You don't have to know lore to draw, just know what the ship(s) look like please, as well ship MUST be Canon (dont worry I dont have non canon ships yet, ill just label the non canon ones as "(non canon)" in their descriptions should I have any.

I would love this but, please don't design your own fan made ships (I'm sorry, I'd love to see creativity yet I don't have anything to give you in turn for the design...) unless you really are willing to give it for free I guess....(I'd really appreciate that!)

Deadline

I'm going to be a nice guy, since it's the festive season, you all have your own plans, let's give this challenge till the end of the year (31st December 2025)

Submissions

this is very important, heres what you do for adding pictures to post descriptions

(1 First take a screenshot of your Picture if digital or take a photo of your picture (if you dont have good lighting I reccomend an app like Camscanner or OKEN Scanner, yet save as PNG file please).

(2 head over to this website (it is safe, I use it all the time for all my pics, even now:

(3 tap "Choose Images" now you will see this pop up, click "Photos and Videos"

(4 Now select your fanart work if here, if not head to your gallery.

(5 if you've headed to your gallery, select your fanart work please and proceed

(6 Once you've done that, you should see this

(7 Now scroll down, you will see many links, yet copy the github link with "Markdown" written by it

Incase this doesn't work, test which links work and which don't in posts

(8 Once done, copy the link, add it to your forum post or other post description by pasting it in (you can either submit via any post, as long as the picture is in the description) and voila!

(9 Please mention me in the comments by typing @Aludra877 , this way, I will see your mention in my notifs, and likely head there, if I don't see your post within the next 24 hours, PLEASE mention me again, my notifs likely got flooded...hence I didn't see it the 1st time round, anyway, thank you.

By the end of the year, I will be showcasing my favorites (by this, I'm not saying those that aren't my favorites are bad or trash, I'm just showing my favourites) and stating the Artists responsible, those artists will receive a really nice craft..., alongside a participation gift, which everyone who participated will receive by the deadline date.
