Vireo-X1-100

The Vireo-X series is the first part of a test generation for my continuous aircraft series.

The planned next generation will be split into the baseline 'X' series, which has continued since the start and will consist of 30-400+ seat aircraft, and the new Vireo series, which will be for designs below 30 seats.

Vireo-X1 is the first vehicle in this test series. It uses 2 simulated hybrid-electric propellers, with the concept intended to use standard combustion combined with fuel-cell-supplemented or fully supplied electricity.

X1-100 has a maximum capacity of 4 seats (based on the in-game standard), over an estimated distance of 2,850km. The tested maximum altitude is ~9km, and the tested top speed is 140m/s.

The X-1 has X1-200 and X1-300 variants that have roughly the same range, speed and altitude maximums; but can seat up to 6 and 8 passengers respectively.
