[GEN 2] JATO Booster Series

Juno New Origins first ever modular smart JATO Boosters!

JATO Rocket Boosters are meant for attachment to aircraft to aid in takeoff acceleration. They come in assortment of sizes and, from least powerful to most powerful, are listed below.

• JATO 10KN (9 second burn time)

• JATO 30KN (14 second burn time)

• JATO 50KN (17 second burn time)

• JATO 100KN (17 second burn time)

These JATO rockets allow for slow, sluggish, and heavy aircraft to get off the ground with ease! All you need is the 2nd Gen Fire Control System, Any Booster of your choice, and structural pylons mounted on your aircraft to accommodate for these boosters.

IMPORTANT: Do be careful when placing these boosters, though, as they can be quite heavy, and there IS a rocket at the end of that booster.

At the start of takeoff, with the 2nd Gen Fire Control System mounted on your jet, click on activation group 2 and enter the prompts to select the JATO Boosters

Hint: they are found in the equipment section.

After they are selected, press Activation Group 3. This will arm the boosters for takeoff, and you will get a message in flight logs that should verify they are indeed armed. Finally, increase the throttle on your aircraft and increase your velocity past 20 m/s. This is the speed threshold where the boosters will ignite. When your plane is flying fast enough, pull up, and climb to at least 100m AGL, so the boosters can automatically detach and fall away!
