The Explorer 1ME Is a massive rocket, featuring 6 SRB’s and its very special payload- to be specific, this is a mars rocket. It was a breakthrough for QTAS and rocket science, as it currently is designed to send 8 humans to mars, with 2 years of supplies and vegetation, and experiments onboard aswell. It is also designed to establish a temporary, or in some cases, a permanent mars station. It was built in 1985, before the great 90’s. Only 10 were produced, all 10 planned to do the same as the 1st mission. In 1991, it finally made a test flight. It was successful. This massive rocket also features a nuclear powered stage, which allows it to propel itself to mars orbit.
