T is for Telescope.

Fairing is designed specifically to take a telescope.
Rocket is designed to fit Ali Pad.
Both stages are designed for recovery.

There's an auto-launch vizzy. It'll circularise the upper stage with ~4km/s d-v remaining.

Swap to the booster after the upper stage is safely in orbit, and lock prograde. There's a gyro on the booster to hold it prograde on re-entry. There's heat shielding on the interstage. (And only on the interstage.) It helps with weight distribution. If you have the best recovery bonus in career mode, the booster should be recovered for ~$1.8m.

Don't use a $50m rocket to launch a telescope. That is over-building.

(yes this is the T2. Don't worry about the T1, it's the same but with all-liquid engines.)
