About
The M46 Patton was an American medium tank developed in the late 1940s as an upgrade to the M26 Pershing. Named after General George S. Patton, it was designed to address the shortcomings of the M26, particularly its underpowered engine and limited mobility. The M46 featured a more powerful Continental AV-1790 engine and a new cross-drive transmission, which significantly improved its performance. It retained the 90mm gun but included enhancements in fire control and reliability. Entering service in 1949, the M46 became one of the primary U.S. tanks.
This M46 painted in a tiger stripe camouflage, famously used during the Korean War, the eye-catching paint job was part of a psychological warfare tactic by the U.S. Army's 6th Tank Battalion in 1951 to intimidate enemy forces. The tank was decorated with bold tiger stripes, sharp teeth, and eyes on the front, resembling a tiger's face inspired by Korean cultural symbolism where tigers represent power and fear.
the first time using this decal or label tools, plan to attempt use full camouflage pattern for future upcoming tank
