So this is a spaceplane that I have been developing off of "Warbrine's" original design. I just wanted to have fun exploring the solar system with an infinite fuel spaceplane. I was disappointed when I realized that it didn't have infinite fuel, so I started designing something different from it. I wanted to add an open/closed air system to the craft by using a jet engine/rocket engine combo, however I've ran into an issue where the jet engine will not take in any air, therefore not producing any thrust. I'm wondering if I can get some extra help from some professionals that can explain to me what might be going wrong with the system. Thanks for your help!

Thank you for letting me know. I wasn't sure what was going on with it. Also, thank you for the compliment! I unfortunately lost all of my progress after this point due to swimming with my old phone which contained the files I need, so I'm trying to recover what I had lost. I need to improve stability when flying at higher speeds, improve maneuverability of the craft, and balance the center of thrust when in space. I would also like to add VTOL to it as well so that landing on planets or moons without an atmosphere is possible. I have a lot of work cut out for me before I can reach that point. -

The unlimites fuel does work. Try reconnecting the tank through allowing the engine to take fuel from other tanks. For some reason when downloading it undos that. Very nice tweaks btw

Just tested your craft looks like your air inlet isn't large enough for that engine I got it to work by increasing the width of the front of the air inlet to 2.5 using the part shape tool.

Yeah... I was able to figure that out. My new issue was trying to figure out what I could do with the inlet, so that 1. it works properly, and 2. it fits with the aerodynamic design that I'm going for, which in itself poses as quite a challenge! Thanks for the tip, I appreciate it.
