The Titan IIIA was a space launch vehicle operated by the US Air Force from 1964-1965. It was derived from the Titan II ICBM. The Titan IIIA was a three-stage vehicle. Its first stage used one LR87-9 engine. The second stage used one LR91 engine. The third stage was a Transtage and it used two AJ10 engines. The fairing and payload was mounted on top of the Transtage. The Titan IIIA was a part of the Titan Rocket Family, which consisted of the Titan I, Titan II, Titan II SLV, Titan II GLV, Titan IIIA, Titan IIIB Agena, Titan IIIB Ascent Agena, Titan IIIC, Titan IIID, Titan IIIE, Titan IVA, and Titan IVB.
