I’ve been thinking lately about how SpaceX lands their Falcon 9 booster. They land it in one piece. I thought, “Why don’t they just recover the engine?” This would be less dangerous, would help preserve the engine’s quality (Therefore decreasing refurbishment expenses), and landing something smaller is easier. This is why Saturna Aerospace has created the first rocket in our Journey series, Journey I. This is a suborbital test vehicle used to see if our idea will work. It is very small, about 5-6 Droods tall. It uses parachutes to recover the first and second stage engines, and has a small payload. The engines are custom, gas generator 1’s. A small vizzy script is included. Set throttle to 100 to initiate. Batteries included like always. Enjoy.
