Introduction
This game is based on the famous classic arcade game "Asteroids". The player's task is to destroy asteroids and UFOs that appear from time to time to destroy the player. As the level increases, the game becomes more difficult, your task is to score as many points as possible!
Description
Player's spaceship
The player controls a spaceship that can accelerate in a chosen direction and rotate left and right. This control is called inertial. The player can also shoot ahead of himself and perform a hyper jump, during which the player is teleported to a random place on the screen, while receiving invincibility for several frames.
Asteroids
There are three types of asteroids in the game - large, medium and small. When a large asteroid is destroyed, two medium ones appear, and when a medium asteroid is destroyed, two small ones appear.Moreover, the smaller the asteroid, the faster it moves.
UFO
The UFO is an enemy that appears from time to time from the edge of the screen and moves to the other end of the screen in a sinusoidal pattern. During this time, the UFO shoots at the player. As the level increases, the UFO becomes a truly dangerous opponent!
Gameplay
The player is greeted by the home screen, to start the game you need to click the Start button. After that, the level is loaded - the player and asteroids are spawned. When there is not a single asteroid and UFO left on the screen, the countdown to the start of the next level starts, the player becomes invincible for 5 seconds. The number of large asteroids spawning at the beginning of the level has increased by 1. When the player has lost all lives (or passed level 100), the game ends, and the user is transferred to the home screen.
Control
Thrust – Pitch Input;
Rotation - Roll Input;
Shoot - S button;
Hyperspace - H button;
AG1 - turn music on/off;
AG2 - Reflection of buttons S and H.
Features
-The game uses inaccurate but easy to calculate circular collisions, so try to shoot at the middle of the object;
-If your fps is less than required (50 fps corresponds to dT=0.02 seconds), the game will run in slow mo. Note that the game does not bind variables (speeds, accelerations, etc.) to frame time!
-The game was created for monitors with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
-You can change the color of objects on the screen in the Game Display program.
-You can change the characteristics of the player's spaceship (and not only that) in the Game Display program, for example, make it so that it doesn't decelerate as it did in the original game.
-Keep in mind that at the beginning of the level, asteroids spawn at some distance from the center of the screen, so during the countdown, hurry to move to the center of the screen!
-The gameplay is presented in this post
Have Fun!

@XionmassResearchDevt Well, I guess I have a pterodactyl... either way, this craft might be awkward to use on mobile devices in terms of controls
