Special Operations Tilt - Wing Aircraft. The JV 27 is a New large Spec - Ops Cargo VTOL, being the most advanced Kashmian Aircraft, and overall greatest ever built by me. Designed to Carry Oversized loads while being able to land on ridiculously small areas, given the VTOL operator's skill. It combines the benefits of the JV 10's Tilt wing config, cargo capacity, speed with the JV 22's PAJE engines, Low- speed power, better design with a little of the JLM 3400's cargo capacity, while now having a full interior. It has new PAJECopter II engines which run on electric power and Jet fuel, cutting noise and emissions by half, while handling the stress of VTOL better than the JV 10. It's also fun to fly if you know how to fly it properly. It requires a Pilot and a VTOL operator, and has capacity for 4 crew members or engineers.
Specs:
Takeoff speed: 73 m/s (0 Vtol)
Landing speed: ~140m/s (0 VTOL)
Max speed: 290m/s
Max VTOL speed(Full hinges): 30m/s
Max Alt: 14 kilometers
Max VTOL Height: 2 400m
Max possible range: 1 200 kilomiters
Tips:
Do NOT keep the hinges between 0 and 90 degrees. Craft spins and becomes unstable
It's suggested not to use Autopilot for Vertical landing, as it might fught you
Turn off the VTOL Systems during flight for max range, as they're very power intensive (Gyros)
Vertical Takeoff:
Turn on VTOL Systems, Slider 1 down, and full throttle. ~90% thrust is hover
Vertical landing:
Enable Airbrakes if speed is +210m/s.
Start tilting wings at 190m/s
Put throttle at 85% if not, and pull back or wait. (Aircraft will pull back itself at higher speed)
Lower throttle for a smooth landing, switch engines off.
Controls:
Slider 1: Landing flaps
Slider 2: VTOL Hinges
AG1: Engines+ Systems
AG2: Cargo door
AG3: lights
AG 4: Cabin door
AG 5: VTOL Systems (Off by default)
AG 7: Airbrake
AG 8: Landg
I'm having a problem with the PAJEs acting weird at 45 degree angles, so you'll have to use slider 2 awkwardly. And yes, it needs the 2 front gear for stability. Canards are for COL balancing during VTOL, and to look awesome. God bless, and Enjoy
