Hello, this is my replica of the X-15 carried by the B-52B.
It should be fairly accurate since i re-created it using 1:1 plans for both of the planes.
It took me a while to make this so let me know if you like it!
Since there are two crafts there are also two command chips, which makes handling all the systems a little harder but i'll try my best to explain.

On the B-52:
Slider 1 controls flaps
Slider 2 doesn't control anything

On the X-15:
Slider 1 controls air brakes
Slider 2 controls landing skids
Activation group 1 toggles the RCS

Each command chip controls its own systems and not the ones of the other aircraft, which means that you can't control the flaps of the B-52 via the Slider 1 on the X-15 and you can't control the airbrakes and landing skids of the X-15 via the slider 1 and slider 2 on the B-52.

The staging that this craft uses is partially incorrect, so I'll explain to you how to use it correctly: Before takeoff select the X-15's command chip and retract the X-15's nose gear and landing skids. You can select the command chip by selecting one of the x-15's parts and then by clicking on the command pod icon in the part's menu. Once you have retracted the gear, switch back to the B-52's command chip and take off.
Once in flight, before dropping the X-15, select one of its parts and then select his command chip. Once the X-15 is dropped switch the control to the command chip of the X-15. You now have control of the X-15.

At this point DO NOT activate the stage as it will automatically jettison the lower part of the vertical fin, instead you should select the X-15's engine and manually turn it on.

Before landing, be sure to jettison the lower part of the vertical fin and to extend the landing gear, landing skids and air brakes.

I hope you enjoy!!!
