Description!

A first for Alpha Space Technologies, the C-300E SteelWing brings AWACS technologies to the Ali Base Army! This reconfigured variant of the C-300A SteelWing includes many different changes, that separate it from its sister aircraft:

  • New GEN 3 AWACS Avionics Bay! (sold separately)

  • New AWACS spinning radome

  • Includes new AWACS operating room interior! (Its not crazy high fidelity or anything but it kinda feels nice to have)

  • (GEN 3) A.S.T datalink target sharing! (Broadcasts Targets' craft ids to listening crafts via datalink - Similar to Link 16, but requires a craft in range first before relaying)

  • (GEN 3) Features IFF (Identification Friend or Foe; filters all friendlies from targeting mode, leaving only neutral and hostiles.)

  • Engine RPM has been reduced to safer levels (from 1900 RPM to 1100). Motor size has also been correspondingly reduced, improving fuel efficiency AND Endurance)

  • Prop blades have been switched to "Drone", increasing Engine Thrust per RPM at low speeds.

  • Features some new aesthetic additions, such as 5 pitot tubes, and a relatively easy to spot easter egg (and the interior, as already mentioned).

Our new AWACS is derived from our already proven C-300A SteelWing Cargo Plane, now with more endurance and fuel efficiency, and the strategic jackpot of being able to SEE EVERYTHING.

Made in partnership with the surveillance and intelligence expertise from the Bureau Of Anomaly Detection And Correction.

My dumbass accidentally left two activation groups named "Airspeed Autopilot"🫩

Just disregard AG 4. The actual Airspeed Autopilot is activation group 7.

@JLaerospace Damn really? I will definitely consider that for a future AWACS project, resembling something like the Saab GlobalEye AWACS in real life! Heck I could work on it soon!

Really cool! If you ever want to use my airliners (including WIPs) as a base for such a project in the future don't hesitate to reach out!
