Nutcracker class Heavy frigate

This formiddable military vessel of the Fordius Federation is amongst one of the most widely produced. It follows the frontal firing philosophy synonomous with the Federation as well as hosting a powerful main thruster and 2 auxiliary thrusters which gives it a lot of speed, it sports 8 medium cannons and 2 capital warship cannons, making it a very dangerous sight to foes, its energy capabilities are rather efficient hence allowing it to sport the 2 capital warship cannons ( these would normally be found of cruisers and destroyers). It does possess good shield tech and a high recharge rate thanks to its large solar panels, its thick armour does make it a worthy all rounder vessel...yet some CIWS would just be the cherry on the top. Made primarily for the fordian Orbital fleet and also used in smaller patroller groups, since the federation wanted to establish an early orbital defence fleet and needer a frigate type of vessel fast. The Nutcracker dominated against most adversaries due to the engineers and designers prioritising practicality over aesthetic and overall performance.
