NOTE: Set pitch anywhere below 90° at liftoff otherwise rocket will tumble. Aside from that no other instructions. Thank you! Rocket is optimized for RSS so ∆v is much higher than what is needed in the Juno system. By default it has a 3.1 ton mass simulator to simulate the Juno orbiter's mass. Remove it to add custom payloads. Enjoy!

A RSS-optimized recreation of the United Launch Alliance Atlas V 551, specifically AV-029 which launched the Juno orbiter to Jupiter on August 5, 2011. It along with it's direct ancestor was a radical shift from all previous Atlas rockets, abandoning the signature stage and a half configuration for a single twin-nozzle NPO Energomash RD-180 kerolox engine from Russia. Such an engine led to it's success, unfortunately due to the Crimea situation in 2014 and the Ukraine invasion in 2022 the engine has been a source of controversy and rocket is being phased out in favour of the Vulcan Centaur. Expect a recreation of Orbital ATK's OmegA rocket next. Thank you!
