THE FALCON 1 WAS SPACEX'S FISTS CRAFT EVER MANUFACTURED.
On 28 September 2008, Falcon 1 became the first privately-developed liquid-fuel launch vehicle to go into orbit around the Earth.
The Falcon 1 had 3 failed launches with the 4 and 5th launch being a success.
This type (Merlin A) is named after the engine. There are two other versions being Merlin C and Falcon 1e.
