Forged in the ever expanding territories of Greater Emaola, the LASCV (Large Above-Surface Carrier Vessel) "Douglas M. Lamborn" is a true feat of Emaolan Engieneering.

In 1946, The LASCV - 001 "Lamborn" was part of a colonizing mission to snake island, a vital strategic landmass to the north of Emaola when it and it's surrounding fleet were attacked by Lethebian special forces from under the water, killing 2,648 Emaolan sailors, marines, and civilians part of the colonization process. Because of incredible amounts of Information Warfare on behalf of the Lethebians, they got away with the attack, and Emaola lost out on building strategic assets on Snake Island, a vital economic and military chokepoint.

The Emaolan Government was able to establish an extremely small port on Snake Island despite the protest of the Lethebians, but it was a far-cry from a full colinization effort intended. The port's name was Iger Bay.

The LASCV - 002 "Sarah L. Palin" another Lamborn Class Aircraft Carrier, was involved in yet another crisis surrounding Snake Island in 1949, When Emaola was caught smuggling 300 spies into Lethebia on a cargo vessel labled for soda. Lethebia immediatley rescinded their recongnition for Emaola's small claim into snake island, and Emaola's Port was evacuated due to impending invasion.

As Emaolan Cargo ships evacuated Iger Bay, the Lethebian's PMC Fleet attempted a blockade, trapping two large cargo vessels in international water. An Emaolan SSAFV - "Jeff A. Hurd" Class vessel was able to slip through civilian cargo traffic before the blockade was fully established.

The LASCV - 002 Palin, while still in port, is rushed into limited service and was able to scrable 8 R.19 Fighter Aircraft equipped with an arial combat loadout.

The Lethebian PMC Fleet, owned by Lethebia Offensive Solutions, scrambled fighters and helicopters of their own. Early in the morning, a LOS helicopter fired an anti-ship missile at a LSTTV - "Joe A. Neguse" Class cargo ship, hitting it broadside and causing massive damage. Emaolan R.19s and Lethebian Pitviper fighters engage in an arial dogfight, with the R.19s gaining the early victory.

Lethebia's government intervined themselves in the conflict, firing missiles at the three surface vessels in the area. All missiles miss, and the Lethebian Air Force bugs out and lets Lethebia Offensive Solutions do their dirty work.

The Emaolan Air Force cooridnated a strike with multiple R.19 fighters equipped with experimental Anti-Ship weaponry and R.21 Strategic bombers with TV Guided weaponry. 40 total aircraft from Emaola are ready to strike at the LOS' fleet.

Under the waves, it appears a Submarine vs. Submarine battle is occuring with an Emaolan MUASV "Dan H. Osborn" Class submarine and a Lethebian sub. A large explosion is heard on Sonar, it will be days untill the victor is Identified...

Two MASDV - "Ken R. Buck" class Destroyers punch through the LOS blockade and provide safe passage for the three Emaolan ships stuck near Iger Bay. at the same time, LOS Helicopters are preparing for another attack run on the cargo fleet. Two R.19s dive on the helocopters, destroying one, while the other gets a shot on a Buck Class Destroyer, heavily damaging it's engine room.

Just as this occurs, the fighters begin their attack. LOS Pitvipers armed with an A2A load out, go against R.19s which have either mixed or A2A load outs. While only 22 of 27 Pitvipers are airborne, the R.19s have to defend their aircraft armed with bombs for attack. At the same time, the bombers, knowing there are fighters, stay overhead. They are well over the service ceiling of the pitvipers which the R.19s dont know. As such, a few stay high to protect the 3 bombers

The Pitvipers in position, start taking missile shots. They score two hits on attack R.19s. These are the first air to air missile kills. The kills were deemed as “easy shots” due to the docile nature of these bomb loaded R.19s and their trajectory.
The R.19s and Pitvipers merge, and a dogfight ensues
The R.19s begin their attack run on the LOS Fleet after suffering heavy losses. The first R.19 scores a direct hit on the MITA class Destroyer with a 500kg Bomb. Emaola launches two of their own experimental AShMs, which do damage but are not as accurate at the Lethebian weapons.

The R.21's realizing their guiding systems are jammed decide to "ball" and drop 1000kg bombs from 50,000ft whit absolutely no guidence. a very lucky single bomb makes a hit on a LOS "Bursa" class ship.

After more dogfighting ensues, Emaolan Navy LT Jimmy Barter scores 4 air to air kills, along with his Lethebian counterpart Capitan Yasso Stone, who dogfight for their title of "First Jet-Era Ace"

just as Jimmy Barter closes in for his kill on Yasso Stone, the Radio Jam Ceaces, and Emaolan President Eleanor Maddox has annoucned a ceacefire with LOS's CEO and future Lethebian President John Maverick.

The Dan H. Osborn Submarine pulls into port days later, after dishing out 3 torpedoes and absorbing 2. The Emaolan Submarine Fleet left victorious, along with the air Fleet, scoring more arial kills than the lethebian forces. The LASCV Lamborn Class Carrier proved itself with it's rapid launch capability.
