‎Hello, its just me, Sean and today i am going to represent to yall, the DSCN "Colieventre"


‎Now i know i know i kept posting military spacecrafts and they suck, like its a mere shadow of the craft i posted (the Alan Sheperd Class Gunship) long ago that started all of this shenanigans, BUT I SWEAR TO JUNDROO this one is going to be better than last times, so just stick with me okay? So no further ado, let's talk about this ship

‎The DSCN Colieventre is an orbital gunship developed and built by the Droean government. The Colieventre serves as the workhorse and the first line of defense of the DSCN (Droean Space Congressional Navy), due to its versatility and firepower, making it a very fearsome ship of its time and leaves a mark on their history of space warfare.

‎Now here's the lore:
‎Due to the evolving landscape of space warfare, starting it all with rudimentary satellites with guns and lasers, to militarized rocket stages (rocket stages equipped and retrofitted with military equipment and weaponry), and now to massive full on nuclear powered tin can of a battleships and gunships with guns, missiles and lasers.
‎ The three main governments throughout of Juno system one on Droo, Cylero and at one of the Tydos's moons were in an arms race on who can develop a new generation of military spacrafts first to dominate in the harsh and complex conditions of space.
‎And that's when and where the Colieventre comes in, it is a major ship developed during this arms race and serves as a backbone of Droo's space military.
‎The Colieventre was maybe better than what's being developed by the Cyleroean government but it can't still beat Tydos's heavily specialized battleships, but the Colieventre makes up for it with its versatility, the Colieventre can be upgraded and specialized in many roles without much change in its design making it very flexible and can adapt in many situations.


‎Now let's go to the technicals:
‎The Colieventre is a 132m long orbital gunship equipped with 4 point defence systems, 2 railguns and a single chemical laser, also, it can carry a staggering 40 missiles (very high to my standard of making these ships "mobile friendly")
‎The Colieventre also includes 4 nuclear thermal engines, 4 auxiliary tanks and they all run on water as a propellant, making this ship weighting somewhere at 9KT (very heavy for a ship that size). It may be just decorations but this ship includes 4 main phased array radar, 4 more extra radars, a pair of radomes, and two cameras, specifically tracking/targeting camera A at the top, and B at the side, also they will be very important later. And at the weapons, these weapons will be automated, but with a caveat that it will aim using your camera position and rotation (basically a camera controlled turrets). And the last thing to point out is the missiles, when they are deployed, they deploy in a group of 5, if you want to disperse them, you need to explode the white band at the center or the missile group, but with caution because the missiles can no longer propel itself and they move unpredictably.


‎Now to the controls:
‎First, here are the AGs, also they are named so I will call them by names, not by number
‎-Point Defense' means the PDs will aim for you via a camera
‎-Laser Tracker' means the laser will aim for you via a camera
‎-PD manual' means you can aim the turrets manually
‎-LSR manual' means you can aim the laser manually
‎-Railgun' means the railgun turrets will aim for you via a camera
‎-RG manual' means you can aim the railgun manually
‎-Missile Pod' means you can open the missile hatches on the pod via slider 1
‎-PD fire' means the PDs will fire, their tracer color is red
‎-RG fire' means the railgun will fire, their tracer color is green
‎-LSR fire' means the laser will fire, making a bright glow if you turn on image effects and also now fires an invisible beam
‎-And the rest of the AGs are just self explanatory, I.e. Lights And RCS
‎-Slider 1 and 2 for aiming the turrets
-Missiles are deployed via staging
‎-Also you need to manually refuel the main fuel tank using it's auxiliary tanks it was carrying and they can detach upon being empty via docking ports

‎Now usually I will end the presentation here but I expect this thing is a little complicated to use and enjoy for a layman, so here's a tutorial on how to destroy/decimate a spacecraft using this gunship:
‎The first thing to know in general is to approach your target via a rendezvous, you can learn that from someone. So let's head straight to the good part, the decimation part, when you finally set the trajectory to intercept your target, and before you reach the collision distance of the target (I.e. 10km) set the camera view to "Tracking Camera B"(Also you can zoom in the camera via slider 1) and use pitch and roll of the ship to line it up the target to the middle of the screen, and when you reached 10km relative to target, turn on the weapons (not the manual AGs) and it's corresponding firing AGs to rain down hell on the target, you need to look at your target so the weapons can shoot it, and when the weapons hit the target, your done you finally decimated your target.
‎Also there are some quirks you need to know before mindlessly annihilating anything, first, the camera controlled aiming gimmick should stay on the broadside, you can aim it at will but should be with certain caution, if you rotate the turret too much, the guns might inflict on the ship itself, also, the laser's turret rotates very slowly, like very slow due to the tendency for the rotators within the turret to "vibrate".

At the end of the day, the DSCN Colieventre will be a starting point of a next generation of high standard ships and hopefully achieve the same level of brilliance as the craft i posted (the Alan Sheperd Class Gunship) long ago that started it all and hopefully go beyond that, and I promise this will never be a one hit wonder like the Shepherd Gunship, So, if you have problems/flaws with this ship, don't be shy to comment it down below, I will take that as feedback and will be considered and applied into future projects.
