Ions are extremely versatile when tinkered,and easy to get them to use virtually no fuel.i generally set mine to 0.0001 for both electric and xenon,25 for both sea level and vacuum efficiency, and 9999 for thrust override.the result is a very manageable engine with reasonable speed.but this can also become a warp drive with a few more 9s.and,minimal part count and size.the smallest xenon tank will still offer nearly infinite fuel when set like I mentioned.make one as a sub assembly and your always covered for propulsion
