New update announcement:Version V2 has been updated now!
Just click on my homepage to download and play. The name of the work is J-50 Master Control V2 TeaYi.CN. The new version of the aircraft has better control and more stable flight. I hope everyone will have a good time.
After four or five days of polishing, it has finally reached a level suitable for the official website.
First, this aircraft is not very fun to fly and is quite difficult. Many parameters haven't been adjusted to a level where everyone can directly start and enjoy playing. Even now, flying it is very challenging. It's just a not-so-fun toy for those who want to experience the flight control of a sixth-generation aircraft but struggle to find good models on the official website.
The plane was adapted from Oprad J20 and it was redesigned from beginning to end.
This is my first time designing an aircraft's shape from scratch, adjusting its aerodynamics, and writing flight control code. Due to limited technical skills, I searched for tutorials on Bilibili whenever I encountered difficulties or translated parameters one by one from photos. This has greatly helped me understand the game. Please forgive any shortcomings that affect the gaming experience.
Below are the principles and parameter introduction of the aircraft:
The all-moving wingtips and the outermost ailerons share a set of Slider sliders (left 1, right 2) to control the aircraft's yaw stability. Automatic trimming is achieved via Slider 3, with dynamic regulation through a PID function written in Vizzy. However, due to the current limitations in Vizzy's programming precision, the aircraft overshoots at speeds above Mach 1. I will try to optimize this in the future.
The leading-edge flaps and winglet lift augmentation are manually adjusted using Slider 4.
When adjusting left and right yaw, the moment deflection caused by the deflection of the all-moving wingtips is countered by the opposite deflection moment generated by the outer ailerons. Theoretically, though, the speed coverage cannot reach 100%. In the future, the slider coefficient of the ailerons may be bound to Mach number and atmospheric density through IC functions to optimize handling feel.
The overall center of gravity and aerodynamic center of the aircraft may be adjusted in the future to improve handling.
