@TopSecret2 I'll try it out. Hopefully it works!

I took a look at this on Astronautix; there are variants of the Saturn (The V-4(X)U with four V-25(S)U boosters strapped together came to mind) most of the Nova variants, and the Sea Dragon with greater payload capability than this, but none of them exceeded this in mass. Goes to show how early this was of a design in the early sixties, around the same time as the Nova rockets as a matter of fact.

@Doublehsh Right regarding the airbrakes; I’d just imagine you’d have a way to have it all work with Kell’s KAL Reusable.

    1. No. It was a rocket designed by General dynamics to replace the Saturn V
    2. The rotating engines don’t serve any real purpose. I use them to rotate the first stage for reentry.
    3. After separating from the 1st stage, take control of the 1st stage’s command chip. Use the rotation boosters to rotate 180*. Then throttle up until the orbit icon shows that you’re gonna land in the water (very crucial). At 20km, deploy your parachute and activate the airbrakes (optional).

N.B.: the airbrakes were put in to make it look more real.

I have a few questions about this:

      1. Was this rocket a part of the Nova Rocket series?

      1. What exactly is the purpose of the rotation engines?

      1. How exactly would you land the first stage after staging the second and third stage? If it were up to me, I would try to reconfigure the airbrakes and landing legs to work with KAL R.
