Ugly? Maybe, but it was far ahead of the technology that others had in 1941. with over 840kmh, (230+ ms), its faster than any fighter in its era. The CA-5 is equipped with three 21mm MG‘s, two of them wingmounted, one in the propcone. By the way, be carefull when takeoff, the guppy likes to roll left when it accelerates! (:
