He put another fuel tank/fairing and made the fairing/tank slightly transparent, that’s what gives it it’s cartoony outline. I’ve never tried it before, but I’m pretty sure that’s how he did it

Or he used the tinker panel and changed the “visibility” option to “DepthBeforeMask”
