This is more of a W.I.P than an actual craft, but this works, so why not post it

Instructions : Dock with one of two docking ports located on both ends of the spinner, and set slider 2 to max speed, when you want to release it, deactivate both docking ports at the same time (pause time warp reccomended)

works best on conditions with no atmostphere, such as Luna!

Advantages : saves propellant, and needs just 1 docking port on your craft

Disadvantages : Hard to dock (future update will improve this), can go horribly wrong if not timed well, not strong enough to capture payload into orbit

a future update is coming, which wipes all disadvantages, I just wanted to share this concept to gather thoughts

@ColdAerospace Okay so you have this stiff shock attached to your docking ports, and that causes the magnetic force of the docking ports to dock easily. May need some tinker panel to make it stiff enough though if doing heavy payloads.

Great demonstration of the concept! I'd love to see the future version, with better functionality and looks. I may have an idea to help with the docking, if you haven't figured out. Also, nice part count.
