YDS-BIFROST-1

In an age when humanity still stood anchored to the ground, we lifted our gaze to the heavens and recognized our limits. In that moment, Yggdrasil Dynamics (YDS) made a vow: one day, we will build a bridge between earth and stars.

Thus, the first step was taken, and its name was YDS-BIFROST-1.

Standing merely 36 meters tall and weighing just over 80 tons, this slender prototype rocket was no mighty starship nor shining spear. Yet it was unmistakably a beginning.

With a four-stage configuration and a modest capability of around 6 km/s, it reached for the sky with humble ambition. Its flame was faint, its design unpolished, and failure lingered close at hand.

But on the day BIFROST-1 rose from the earth and slipped free of gravity’s grasp, that fragile cylinder whispered to humanity: there is no bridge yet, but I have laid the first stone.

It was not perfect, for nothing born first ever is, and every bridge begins with its first pillar. From that day forward, a thin line of light stretched between earth and sky.

We called it Bifrost. And humanity took its first step across that bridge.

인류가 아직 지상에 발을 붙이고 살아가던 시대, 우리는 하늘을 바라보며 자신의 한계를 깨달았다. 그때, 이그드라실 다이내믹스(YDS)는 선언했다. 언젠가 우리는 땅과 별을 잇는 다리를 세우리라.

그렇게 첫 걸음이 놓였다. 그것이 바로 YDS-BIFROST-1이다.

높이 36미터, 질량 80톤 남짓한 이 가느다란 초창기 시험 로켓은 거대한 함선도, 찬란한 창도 아니었다. 그러나 그것은 분명 시작이었다.

총 4단 구조와 약 6km/s의 추진 능력으로 하늘을 조심스레 두드렸다. 그 불꽃은 미약했으며 설계는 투박했다. 실패는 언제나 발치에서 기웃거리고 있었다.

그러나 그날, 비프로스트-1이 지면을 떠올라 중력을 벗어난 순간, 작은 실린더는 인류에게 조용히 속삭였다. 길은 아직 없지만, 나는 첫 돌을 놓았다.

비록 완벽하지 않았으나 처음은 언제나 미완이고, 모든 다리는 첫 기둥에서 시작된다. 그 날 이후로, 하늘과 땅 사이에 아주 가느다란 빛의 선 하나가 놓였다.

우리는 그 이름을 비프로스트라 불렀다. 그리고 인류는 그 선 위에서 첫 발을 내디뎠다.

Hello!! The very first rocket of YDS’s original launch series — the prototype YDS-BIFROST line — has finally been completed!!! 😃😃

I’ll be building a few more successors after BIFROST-1, and as for the GUNGNIR series, it’s pretty difficult to make and takes a long time… plus I really need to study for my exams 😭😭 So I’ll start working on it once I have more free time.
