Description!

The ATDS-40, or the Ali Turret Defense System, is a surface anti-air turret system featuring twin 40mm autocannons meant for destroying aerial targets. It features 360° lateral rotation and up to nearly 90° vertical coverage, as well as convergence aiming that allows the bullets, which have an extremely high surface velocity, to hit accurately virtually 100% of the time. And due to their generous high explosive filler, just one or two bullets can shred basically any target in the air with ease (yes, they aren't modeled bullets, but real 40mm shells still provided the same impact in real life). It also features a spinning radar which has a range of a 10km circular radius, and ammo storage at the "backpack" of the turret. While initial tests were done in Droo Space Center, the real use of this turret is to provide defense against aerial targers in Ali Base, whom, at the time, had limited deterrence against such targets.

To activate, ensure Activation Group 1 is activated, and that there are flying targets with 7 parts or more within 10km of the turret. If they come closer than 3km, they will be instantly destroyed!💥
