Eagle - Crew

The Eagle - Crew is the passenger variant of my Eagle Model of Space Planes. Check my profile for the others!

It features: a retractable cabin roof, giving great views, an emergency exit, detailed cockpit and cabin, a custom landing skid, and a main/scramjet engine combo.

It holds 2 pilots, and 6 passengers. I have each of my Eagle Variants to travel to, land on, and orbit every planet and many moons.

INSTRUCTIONS

For best takeoff: Activate APU and scramjet to 40% and set pitch to 35 degrees until liftoff.

For best landing (atmosphered) deorbit and slow to a 45 degree entry, set your pitch perpendicular to your direction. Enable parachutes through stages and continue holding pitch perpendicular. This will airbrake the craft enough for parachutes to deploy. The 4 wings on the bottom are the skids, they will not break. The gear has suspension to bring the craft down onto the skids safely.

The AG 2 enables the vacuum engines, scram jet engines are more efficent in atmosphere. There is a solar panel for long distance recharging, as well as a small RTG. Disable APU to preserve battery in deep space. RCS can be disabled in vacuum, the gyroscope is powerful enough to maneuver.

The 2 Cockpit MFDs on the bottom middle and bottom left are a little buggy. Set left to Gauges, and Middle to Fuel and they will work fine.

Everything except for the shape of the center fuselage was modified by me, including engines, staging, AG, entire cabin, cockpit, wings, colors, and physics changes.
