Auto Credit Based on SaturnaAerospace's 0M1CR0N Prototype 2
On September 25, Prototype 3 completed its test flight. It ascended to 10 kilometers, flipped, descended, and performed its flip. However, upon descending, a change in the vehicle’s roll caused a deviation from the flight path. This became apparent when its flight termination system (FTS) exploded the vehicle. Prototype 4 is up next!
New Features
Some new features include a gyroscope, more fuel, new Avior engines, and, of course, flaps/fins. The fins will help keep the vehicle in the correct orientation when descending into the atmosphere at supersonic speeds. However, this is the first prototype with these. The design will most definitely change as we discover issues.
