The Intrepids were desgined for roll start takeoffs. climb to space, come back in....even go back out again if you'd like!

Orbitha is just an observation platform to put in orbit around planets. Just kidding, its to motivate you into docking practice

The Intrepid "SS" services(docks at rear of Orbirtha, Crewman opens engine bays, float around them for a few, yada yada, good work, close the bays, go home for that beautiful ILS approach!)

The Intrepid "LUNA" was still under develpoment to become a satallite defence spacecraft. It can land vertically or horizontally on Luna with good skills. DONT NOT USE GYRO for vertical decent or the gyro flip flops near straight up causing hair loss and flying erasers to go flying. Use RCS and heading lock for vertical Luna landings.

-> Rountine proceedures are important, expectance is key. Find a workable proceedure you can stick with, this is mine.

With Runway Launch Location selected to start

1 Main Power/Gyro: ON
2 Taxi/Landing Lights: OPTIONAL
3 Bay Doors: CLOSED

6 Lower Single Engine: ON

LOCK Heading: ON

NAV BALL: UP

READY FOR TAKEOFF

-Apply Full Throttle

-Rotate to 15' AT 50m/s

-Climb to 1000' asl

-At 1000' :
-Boosters Engines: ON (AG7)
-Pitch to 35' (Gets you out of the "thick" so you don't burn)

-At 30,000' asl, pitch to 20' for lateral speed

-Countinue climbing to desired Apoapsis

-Establish a very close orbit

-Fine tune orbit to perfection with RCS (Optional)

At 120km orbit, your takeoff run should start when the Target is 640km behind you coming over the horizon following the above proceedure, should put you about 10-15km away from your target

Its roughly 8 minutes and 45 seconds from takeoff roll, to orbit.

Save the Set as a whole, then select the command pod in the craft you want. then delet the rest, save as is for individual saves.

I'm NOT listing all the AG groups. I've done enough! Figure them out yourself commander!
