X-070-SST-NG is an updated, improved efficiency variant of the initial X-070 supersonic airliner.
It has swapped from 2 afterburning turbofans to 4 non-afterburning turbofans with altered specifications and received an increased wing size.
The NG version was made with the goal of being between the two modes of the base design, aiming to reach higher speeds than its non-afterburning mode, but a higher range than its afterburning mode.
The new variant was tested up to altitudes of ~20km and a top speed between Mach 1.7 and Mach 1.75, giving it an estimated range of ~9,000km.
