@Shigure The successor system doesn't work at the subassembly level. Maybe someday we can enhance it so that it does. @Shoot2kill didn't do anything wrong here in regards to intentionally bypassing the successor system.

@Shoot2kill, a pinch of grace can go a long way and giving credit where it is due is very important. If someone lets you know that you are using their parts, I think a fantastic response to that would be something along the lines of "Oh, thanks for letting me know! I will credit you in the description." I'm sure you would be grateful if someone did the same for you if the roles were reversed.

@Shoot2kill That analogy falls apart when the majority of a craft’s part count comes from those “screws”.

@Shigure why do you want the credit so bad, I didn't even use you craft, I imagined and designed my own, it's just that I just so happened to have gotten truss parts from somewhere that I could not remember

@Shigure i like to think of the parts I used as screws, there insignificant by themselves but when used to make something then they become useful

@Shoot2kill And how is your posting shuttles or whatever relevant to that? It’s not. Also, at the very least giving credit is good, but not breaking the rules and using the successor system would also be nice.

@Shigure it's a subussembly, or a single module, the things that I really like to promote are my shuttles

@Shigure if you don't like the fact that I'm using your parts, worry no longer, I'm in the process of adding a new truss system to the station

@Shoot2kill mate it’s not a question of taking parts or being tired of an argument. The successor system exists for a reason. Bypassing it is against the rules.

I'm sorry if I forgot were I got the parts from, but i still don't think that you should get all the credit

@Shoot2kill well you obviously took them. That craft is five months old, saying you “don’t recall” taking it doesn’t mean anything. And if you modified them... well, that’s literally what the successor system is for.

@Shigure first of all, I don't recall taking anything, you posted it. Second I did use your parts but, they were insufficient for what i was doing so i enhanced and modified them
