CONTEXT:
After the peace threaty of 1926 the war against the United States of America was over.While rebuilding destroyed cities and military bases the AAF decided to continue development on their latest fighter the P-17 by upgrading the first production model into something that could better protect the country especially after the americans started producing the feared Naval Warrior aircraft.
The P-17 B was born as a successor to the original P-17.
This model entered service in late 1927 and was retired in early 1931. The P-17 B Is the First aircraft of the AAF to incorporate the base airplane livery 2.0 wich Is darker in colour and Is painted not Just metal.

Retractable landing gear w a simpler system:[Press Retract gear AG 8 and fly/Tò Land Press AG 7 Gear down and only deactivate Gear Retract once the year Is fully down or else It wont moove].

The C and D versione Will be way Better while also incorporati by stronger guns.
Still 15mm cannons aint that weak when u have 6x especially against biplanes like the enmy's Model 1-2 while for the Naval Warrior It might be 50/70 out come cuz of their turret.. -

@Livingg017 Me saving funds this crafts propeller generates about 20kn of thrust while all the previous Planes had like half of that or a Lil more....

15mm wont do nothing to enemy craft, doesnt matter how much of them you put on a plane, go get some nice 20mm incendiary guns, they will work great. when ww2 starts i will put 40mm on my interceptor/ground attack planes
