The Titan IIIB Agena was a modified Titan II with an Agena upper stage. The Titan IIIB Agena had three stages. The first stage used a LR87-9 engine. The second stage used a LR91 engine. The Agena third stage used a XLR81 engine. The fairing and payload would then be mounted on top of the Agena third stage. The Titan IIIB also had another version with an Ascent Agena upper stage called the Titan IIIB Ascent Agena. The Titan IIIB Agena was a part of the Titan Rocket Family, which consisted of the Titan I, Titan II, Titan II SLV, Titan II GLV, Titan IIIA, Titan IIIB Agena, Titan IIIB Ascent Agena, Titan IIIC, Titan IIID, Titan IIIE, Titan IVA, and Titan IVB.
